Get ready for three days of climbing, creativity, and community as ClimbFest 2025 brings together climbers of all levels for the biggest festival-style bouldering event in Singapore. ClimbFest 2025 is proud to be part of the Singapore Urban Sports + Fitness Festival (SGUSFF).
From adrenaline-pumping competition walls to playful festival climbs, there’s something for everyone — whether you’re chasing personal bests, team glory, or just some fun with friends.
How it works:
1) Pick your category and timeslot (more info below).
Each carnival slot is 2.5 hours.
2) Make the purchase
3) Complete your registration form sent to your email by 31 Oct 2025
Timings are as follows:
Friday & Saturday: 9am | 11.45am | 2.30pm | 5.15pm | 8pm
Sunday: Finals, Athlete Meet & Greet, Showcases
ALL participants get an event tee.

🧗 Novice Category
Your first step into competition climbing.
The Novice category is perfect for newer climbers taking their first leap into the comp scene. Expect friendly, approachable routes that focus on fun, confidence, and community — not just grades.
Qualifications:
🚫 Have not qualified for finals in any major competition.
🏅 Have not podiumed in any previous category (Novice, Intermediate, or Open).
💪 Recommended gym grade: V0–V3
Your best 5 routes count toward finals — a great way to learn, grow, and enjoy your first competition experience.

💥 Intermediate Category
Where skill meets strategy.
For climbers with some competition or training experience who want a challenge that pushes both physical and technical limits. Expect complex beta, balancey movement, and crowd-pleasing problems.
Qualifications:
🚫 Have not qualified for finals or podiumed in Open or podiumed for Inter categories.
💪 Recommended gym grade: V3–V6
Your best 5 routes determine if you make it to finals — where things start to get spicy.

🎯 Open to national-level or seasoned gym climbers.
💪 No restrictions — if you’re ready, you’re in.
Your best 5 routes determine who qualifies for finals, where the strongest shine.

👯 Team Category (4 Climbers)
Climb together, win together.
Grab your crew — this one’s all about teamwork. Teams of 4 compete across shared routes, blending strength, synergy, and support.
Format:
👥 Teams of 4 climbers (max 1 intermediate climber, no open climbers. Each team to have min. one member of the opposite gender).
🧗Team qualification based on combined top scores. Females score 2x points.
🔥 Finals for top-ranked teams.

For those born in 1989 or before, this category celebrates experience, grit, and passion.

Climb for the fun, not the finals.
For those who want to soak up the carnival vibes — grab a friend and climb together! This lighthearted category is all about good energy, teamwork, and movement without the stress of competition.
Format:
🤝 Teams of 2 (any pairing). Females score 2x points.
🎉 Non-competitive endurance format — no finals, no isolation.
🧗 Perfect for friends, families, or first-timers.
